Ongoing call showing up on lock screen

Hi Team,

How to disable the “call control menu” that shows up when the phone is locked whenever anyone is on call (Snapchat/WhatsApp etc..). I accidentally tap things, end calls, etc. Is there any way to disable this? at least when the phone is locked.

I need a possible solution urgently. This is disturbing me while I am on call.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start a voice call on Snapchat/WhatsApp /similar app.
  2. Lock your screen by pressing the side button.
  3. This happens and you can do nothing to close the menu.

Hello mamathap24,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. The options you're seeing based on the screenshots can appear while you're on a phone call using third party apps. You may want to consider contacting the app developers for these apps to see if there's a possible way to disable the call options from appearing. Here's how to contact an app developer:

Contact the developer of an iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS app
1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.

3. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.

In the App Store on iPhone, you can find the App Support button below the reviews.

These steps are outlined here: How to contact an app developer

Kind regards.
