Apple TV fails verification on Roku TV
When first signing in to the Apple TV channel on Roku TV I keep getting the "failed verification" error.
The Apple ID and password are correct.
Any thoughts?

I had the same issue with both Apple TV and Music on my Roku. It wasn’t enough to remove and redownload alone. I removed both Apple apps, turned off and unplugged my Roku device for 2 minutes and restarted. Redownloaded the apps and now I’m finally able to log back in! Just wanted to share for those of you with the same issue.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. Have you tried both sign in methods from Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV or streaming device? If not, try both and see if the same continues.
"If you're not signed in with your Apple ID, open the app and go to Settings > Accounts. Then choose a sign in option.
If the same continues, check for an update for the Apple TV app or delete and redownload it, then try again. That may help to refresh the connection. Test to see if other apps are working OK.
Are you signed in to Apple TV on other devices and if so, does this only impact your TV? Also, even if other apps are working fine, it may help to isolate the issue if you connect your TV to another network and see if the same happens there.

Just had this issue but powered off the Roku and back on, then logged in through the activate.apple.com then entered the number displayed on the TV. Then it logged me in through my phone. So thank you for adding that you rebooted because it helped my issue for sure.

I can tell you that it is only on Roku TV that I am experiencing the "verification failed" error. Other devices sign in without issue
Also, can confirm that It is the newest update on the TV.
