Wireless charging stops

Sometimes when I wireless charge overnight my phone only charges to 70-80% and then stops. It then draws much more power in standby than it does during the the day when I use it and by the morning it is down to 30-40% somehow. I don’t have optimized charging activated. Anyone who knows why this might happen?

When tapping on the overnight blue bars, screen active time is 0M and screen idle time is 1H. For now, I’m turning standby mode off. But so far, I’m super disappointed in the quality of the iPhone 16 Pro and the performance of its battery / charging. Is anyone encountering this?

Loss of wireless charging since IOS 17.5.1 update on IPhone 11 Since the latest update my phone will no longer charge wirelessly. It does initially when put on the pad but stops after a few seconds and the pad flashes. I have tried other wireless chargers and an older IPhone which I have charges fine so its not the chargers. If I plug the phone in direct it will charge but takes many hours. My phone is less than two years old as I have an upgrade due in just over a month. Is it the phone or the upgrade as it was charging ok beforehand.

What type of wireless charger are you using?

Some brands of Qi charger may charge a device for a while but then may suddenly determine the device isn't properly aligned and will stop charging. (One particular brand of stand was known for this.)
