Apple Music - Japanese songs titles are romanized on MacOS

Hi, since the last days on my Macbook, the Japanese songs titles are romanized instead of using the kana or kanjis. It's very confusing and uncomfortable.

I have try to change the system region in the settings, and changed the keyboard, but it didn't work. On iOS it's good, the titles are correctly displayed in Japanese.

So my undertanding is that some settings on my Macbook should cause the issue.

What do you recommend to fix that? Do we know if Apple is currently updating the Japanese songs titles?

Thank you!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

Hi Junbel,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To help isolate the issue, can you tell us if this is for all songs or a specific album? If you deleted one of the songs and redownload it, does the issue remain? To add a song:

Add and download music from Apple Music

1. Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.
2. Find music that you want to add to your library.
3. To add a song, click the Add button Add button. To add an album, playlist, or music video, click +Add.

Thank you.
