icloud+ custom domain, can send mail but cannot receive mail

I tried to setup my custom domain icloud+ so I can use my domain for emails.

I received a confirmation from Icloud that my domain is set up correctly.

Now I can send emails from icloud (apple mail) with my new domain, but I am not able to receive emails anymore.

I was not able to set the "host" name in the settings of my domain provider ("@" or "sig1._domainkey") but as I received a confirmation from apple I thought everything is fine now.

The provider is netim, does anyone know how to do it?

Is there any support for the setup process?

I already read the manuals on the apple website, is there any other help?

Hello PeteHikers,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to receive email to your custom email domain linked to your iCloud account. Looking at this Apple resource Use Custom Email Domain with iCloud Mail we recommend making sure that this is setup on the iCloud.com website and confirming that you can send and receive emails from there first:

Add an email domain you already own to iCloud Mail on iCloud.com

Create and delete email addresses for a custom domain on iCloud.com

Once you have that working on the iCloud.com website, then make sure your are signed in with your Apple ID and with iCloud Mail turned on in your Mac for the Mail app, and test sending and receiving in the Mail app on your Mac with this custom domain.

Cheers!
