problem with apple mail notifications not deleting

when I delete an email the message disappears but the notification will not disappear

Mail app not receiving notifications I have an issue getting notifications (for emails received) to work in the mail app. I’ve checked to make sure notifications are enabled. I installed a couple of 3rd party mail apps and I wasn’t able to get notifications working either. Any help appreciated.

Email notifications not working I have tried every possible solution online and yet I am still suffering with this issue! All of my notifications are turned on for my emails - banners, sounds, badges, previews... I also read that I should keep my ringer on however I’m still not notified immediately when I receive an email. This is so frustrating, but I can’t seem to fix it, can anyone help?!

Notifications on Apple Mail app extremely late This has been a problem for me basically since I started using iCloud as my email provider: When I receive email at my iCloud address, the push notification to my iOS Mail app takes a long time to arrive, usually at least 30 minutes, sometimes even up to several hours. Needless to say, for time-critical email this is very bad. When I launch the app on my phone at any point before receiving the notification, it will load mail and I will instantly receive the notification for those. I do not have "Background App Refresh" turned off. Notifications settings for the Mail app are turned on. Other apps don’t seem to be affected in any way, just Mail. It also doesn’t seem to be account related as my secondary (Gmail) account also gets notifications very late. Does anyone have any tips on what I could try?

On the 2 Apple Computers running Ventura 13.1.

The Notification in Top Right of screen will slide out and appear briefly and slide back and disappear

How goes the user have their Notification configure for Apple Mail.

Below is how mine are and do not experience this annoyance
