Update Apple ID Settings for iCloud Services - "Continue" is Not Clickable on MacBook Pro

I have the notification to update my Apple ID settings because "some account services require you to sign in again" and when I go to my system settings and click on the notification to update them and then press "Continue" to sign in nothing happens. I can access my Family section under my name and Apple ID at the top, but when I click on my name/profile picture at the top it shows I have selected it but nothing loads on the screen to the right.


I have restarted and checked for software updates but all of that is fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Others seem to have been able to at least type in their username and password but mine won't even load that window.
