Text messages being received as email

When sending a text message on iPhone 12, other person receiving is receiving from my email address and not from phone number. Need to switch back, how to do?

Hello 1_CrazyJ,

To set where messages originate from on our iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Tap Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
  2. Under, "START NEW CONVERSATIONS FROM", disable all except for the phone number

This should force all messages to be sent using your phone number rather than an email address.

Have a good day.
