I cannot get notifications when my husband texts me, but I can get notifications from everybody else. What is wrong with my phone and how do I get notifications from my husband for text?

Hello TVGOOFY,

If you're not getting notifications from one specific message thread, you'll want to make sure you don't have the notifications turned off for that thread.

In messages open the message thread, then select the contact name/number at the top of the conversation. Scroll down, and make sure "Hide Alerts" is turned off. (gray button)

Change message notifications on iPhone

You can also check to see if you currently have a Focus configured which may be stoping the notifications from coming through. Go to Settings > Focus and see if you have anything set up. If you do, turn it off then test out the messaging.

Use Focus on your iPhone or iPad

Cheers!
