iMessage stuck on verifying

My phone number on iMessage settings is stuck on verifying and it will not work. This happened right after I updated to 16.3. I have tried turning off imessage and facetime and all that, signing out of my apple on my phone, and resetting my network settings. How do I fix this?

iMessage and facetime not Verifying my number! Hi, I’ve been having this issue for a long time that iMessage and FaceTime don’t verify my numbers so i cannot use them. I did turn them off and enabled them again but still not working! no matter how much i wait it’s not verified! Im running ios 18.3.2 on 15 pm is there any solution?!

You did the right thing to fix it. All you can do now is wait. I updated myself to iOS 16.3 yesterday and it took approx. 15 minutes before my phone number was registered again.
