I can't access a shared folder from on an other MacBook Pro from my MacBook Pro!!!

I can't access a shared folder from on an other MacBook Pro from my MacBook Pro!!!

The both are the same MacBook Pro Model and both have the same macOS Venture 13.2.

i have enabled the file sharing, i have created a shared folder. but when i go to finder>Network and i double click on the other MacBook Pro i get the message "Connection Failed".

Even when i try to use "Connect As" I get the dialog box to access as Guest or Registered User, where both don't give me access to the other MacBook even byt trying to provide the Name and the Password of the other MacBook.

Note that i have already enabled the "Allow guest users to connect to shared folders" in the Users & Groups in the System Settings.

So, can anybody help me solving this problem?

There is a fairly long thread on file sharing problems in Ventura.

Some people found success disabling, the re-enabling file sharing.

Others removed custom icons from shared drives.

If you share out your Desktop, Documents, or Downloads, you need to give /usr/sbin/smbd Full Disk Access in Security & Privacy Settings.

There are quite a few people with problems file sharing on 13.20

If you have any custom icons on the drive, you were sharing out remove them and see what happens.

Thanks for passing by.

No I don't have any custom icons on the drive. i just have created a folder in the documents folder with sharing active on it.

but still can not access this folder from the other machine!!!

smbd is already activated in the full disk access @ Privacy & Security.

any other thoughts?
