Uninstalled apps use my cellular data

I always cut the data off for apps before I uninstall them but mysterious uninstalled apps continue to use my cellular data which is strange. Does anyone know how to fix this? And I seen that someone said it’s the data the apps used before you uninstalled them but I know that’s not true because I always reset the statistics & the apps always consume more of my data. (I meant to click iPhone for the topic and not hardware)

There was no stored data or apps in iCloud but these miscellaneous apps are still using my data. Looked up the topic & there are a lot of users having the same issue. I don’t think there’s a fix for this because uninstalled apps are still accumulating a lot of my cellular data. These uninstalled apps have used over 100 MB within a week & it’s concerning because I always turn the data off for apps before I delete them…

Ahhh...got it. How much data are you talking about here?

There isn't really a way to dig into that kind of iCloud data that I've seen other than Apple ID-> iCloud and view Apps Using iCloud.

I did some looking around. It seems that offloaded (differentiated from uninstalled apps) may be using some data.

Could it be that you reset, then uninstall other apps....causing the data from the more recent uninstalls to now show up as part of uninstalled app data usage?
