iPhone (13 Pro) chimes every time I open my MacBook

Since the last update, every time I open my MacBook, my iPhone chimes, no matter where it is. It is not plugged in. This is clearly through Bluetooth. It causes 2 problems: 1. My phone is ALWAYS on silent and yet it makes this chime anyway. I am in a lot of work circumstances where I can't have my phone chiming. 2. If I am using my phone for anything, it stops whatever activity I have going and cancels it, so I lose things and have to start over.

There has to be a way to stop this "feature" of the new iOS. Thanks!

Have you connected the iPhone to the Mac using a USB cable and have not authorized the device yet?

This must be some third-party apps that may be triggering it. Or if you have a Bluetooth Audio device connected to both Mac and iPhone could trigger the alert through the Audio device.

Try to switch off the Bluetooth Audio and see if that helps.

I have not connected it via USB at all because everything backs up and syncs through iCloud. Do you think connecting through USB would help? They do both sometimes talk to my AirPods but it's when I'm not even using them. I don't want to turn off Bluetooth all the time because I use it. I wish there were just a way to stop it from happening. I'll try temporarily disabling Bluetooth on my Mac.

When I turn off the bluetooth on my Mac, it tells me that iPhone13pro is no longer available as a microphone. But I don't want it as a microphone. I can't find iPhone13pro listed anywhere in my Mac as a microphone so I don't know how to delete it.
