After repairing the phone with a genuine part from Apple, is it still waterproof?

No Apple iPhones are completely waterproof. Different models have different degrees of water resistance. If the replacement was done by an Apple Store or authorized service provider it should retain its water resistance yes.


If it was done by n unauthorized third party, then there's no way to guarantee that.
