Can I register for Apple care for my watch? I have Apple care on my previous watch, can that be transferred to the new watch?

You can't transfer an existing AppleCare+ cover to a new device, that would be pretty pointless because the duration of cover is already part used in many cases. You would do better to purchase a new AppleCare+ Buy an AppleCare plan - Apple Support
