music library no longer syncs

I used to be able to purchase a song from iTunes on my iPhone, and it would automatically download to my iPad as well. However, the last two songs I’ve purchased aren’t syncing correctly. It looks like I have all my settings in place but it’s still not working. I tried to reboot both devices and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

Go to Settings > Music > Automatic Downloads and check if it's enabled. If it is, turn it off and back on all devices. This should help with future purchases, but for past purchases download them onto the device from the iTunes Store.
