Hi at_w,

Troubleshooting can be tedious at times. However, it can be the only way to isolate what could be causing an unusual issue.

Since you've already been working with Apple Support, we'd advise to contact them again. Provide your case #, which they usually email to you, so they can pick up where they left off. Or, just let them know you have a case already started, so they can find it.

Take care!

Hi at_w,

We see you're having some blank screens in your apps. Let's try starting to safe mode to make sure another app isn't interfering with this functioning right:

Start up your Mac in safe mode

If this starts right in safe mode, then there must be an app installed that's causing this issue.

Try removing your login items until one solves the problem.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

Thanks, but respectfully, I have a few comments. "Try rebooting in safe mode" was the only thing the Apple Support suggested. Actually "Apple Support" was a nice girl reading the script. Interestingly, no one in Apple asked me, the guy who spent over $4k on the gadget, if I had time to play around with this safe-unsafe mode stuff. How long should I hold up in there waiting for the "app installed that's causing this issue"? Wtf? Because there's no issue until it gets warm after running for a while. When you open it the next day without restarting and reloading it works normally for several hours again. My applications are here. Again - thanks for the comment.
