Find it, Clean it - Daisy Disk

Hello all, I'd like to hear from who used or uses it, what about Find it, Clean it - Daisy Disk. I got a recommendation in an Apple store.

My purpose is to find duplicate files, any type of files, to free space in my iMac SSD

Thanks in advance Paulo

Keep in mind that any Mac using the APFS file system may require all "copies" of a file to deleted before space will actually be freed depending how you ended up with multiple copies of a file. If you used the Finder to "duplicate" a file, or used the Finder to "copy" a file to another location on the same APFS volume, then you only created a new link to the data that previously existed. This is a new space saving feature available with APFS file system. Deleting just a single "copy" of a file from a single APFS volume will not affect the free space since you are only deleting a link to the data (a link is only a few KB in size) and not the actual data. Unfortunately I cannot locate any articles with an easy to understand explanation of this feature of the APFS file system to explain it better (or to provide pictures).

Plus space may not be immediately freed after deleting the final link to the data since the "deleted" data may still reside in a backup APFS snapshot for up to a week before being automatically deleted.
