Can private relay email address receive email from third party?

Hi

I am using apple sign in when I signed up for a fan club membership on the official fan app (Weverse).

To buy a concert ticket, they use a third party (ticketmaster) and it is mandatory to register an account in that third party website using the same email address as the one in the fan club (which is the private relay one).

however the ticket will be sent to the apple private relay email address by the third party (ticketmaster). Will I be able to receive it?

from what I read in the forum receiving email from 3rd party is not supported, I also tried to send an email to that private relay email address and received nothing.

how to solve this issue?

What you're describing is a different feature, named Hide My Email, as shown here:

How Hide My Email works

Hide My Email generates unique, random email addresses that automatically forward to your personal inbox. Each address is unique to you. You can read and respond directly to emails sent to these addresses and your personal email address is kept private.

• If you create an account with an app or visit a website that supports Sign in with Apple, you can choose to share your email address, if you're familiar with the app or website, or hide your email address, if you'd prefer more privacy. If you choose the Hide my Email option, only the app or website you created the account with can use this random email address to communicate with you. Learn more about Sign in with Apple.

Hi,

So in my case, I have 2 points of inquiries:

am I going to be able to receive email from Weverse because that’s the app I signed up using apple login? How to retrieve the emails? I looked up for the answers from this forum and they said to look on settings->Apple ID -> password and security-> apps using Apple ID

I did all the above to send the email to my private email address of my choice but I still didn’t received any thing. What to do about this?

2.Will I be able to receive email from Ticketmaster if I use the email address shown in my Weverse app (xxx@privaterelay.appleid.com)?

note: i didn’t use the Apple ID login button as they don’t support that on their website.
