iPadOS 16.4.1 — update yesterday causing a problem

Since I ran the update yesterday, the keyboard pops up on the screen to the middle of the page, disallowing me from seeing the rest of the page. This is happening on any page or app on which I use the keyboard, i.e. notes, iMessage, Facebook.

It sounds like something is out of sync. There are two things to try.

First, restart your iPad.

If that does not work, power your iPad off completely … wait 3 to 5 minutes … then power it back on.

Please let us know if these get your iPad back to a correct display.

On the on-screen keyboard, touch the keyboard-key at bottom-right of the keyboard - and slide your finger to Dock or Dock & Merge before lifting your finger from the screen

You should now have the full on-screen keyboard visible on the screen - and this will be anchored to the bottom of the screen.
