How do I add music back to my music list I erased by mistake. I intended to only erase the download to create space on my phone but I pressed erase by mistake. I only have an iPhone & iPad, not a macbook.

It sounds like the song has become hidden. To unhide a song open the iTunes Store, scroll up to the bottom and tap on your Apple ID to view it, then scroll up to Hidden Purchases > Music and unhide purchases.
Thank you for your reply and help. But is there another way to reinstall the song I bought? I really do not want to set my phone back to factory settings. I just don't understand why apple makes it so difficult to redownload a purchase. I checked and my music app switch is set to on/green under the iCloud syncing.
i faced the same issue . i deleted the music app by mistake.
So don’t panic. All your songs are there. you have to open itunes and go to settings (…) , bought songs and appeared the list. you have to downloaded them again (without charge) . after completing , the songs are in the music app.
