Go to System Settings -> Printers & Scanners then right-click the Brother printer and Reset the Printing System. This will remove ALL printers and drivers. The printer should support AirPrint so click the Add Printer button and it should be detected and it should then work.

It may require a firmware update and the drivers should support Ventura. But try AirPrint first and see if that works for you. If not, try the drivers by re-installing them. Reset the Printing System again and install the drivers then add the printer.
I have done all that, I even bought this new printer because the same happened on my old one, it just doesn't connect with Ventura, I was able to connect an Ipad and 2 Apple Iphones, the printer is connected on my network the same as everything else but the mac computer will not connect
I reset the modem and used Brother IPrint & Scan again, this time it actually did find the laptop
No further info required, I have worked it out and finally now see's the printer
What was the final resolution?
