I was having a problem downloading iTunes so I was waiting for the new iTunes and I found that my phone could handle certain payable apps because of priority on the app in the store which provided even somewhat broken phones more accessibility to the app. That's what I'm guessing why I could download iTunes on my phone. But I looked and the specs for iTunes needed more so I just got another phone.
