login issue

im new with mac os and Im having problem logging in to app store using the same apple ID and credential I use for my icloud and to this site which has no issue, it keeps saying incorrect username and password, and been sending tons of codes to my phone though it's not even needed on the login page of the app store, can someone please enlighten me? I might be doing something wrong and this macos is kinda overwhelming for me, thanks!
