WAP2 password

One of my Macs is asking for a WAP2 password to hook up with WiFi - other devices are working. This is new - never asked for it before. No idea what password it wants. Where do I go from here?

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.15

Look in your router's user manual to get the instructions for configuring WPA2 security for your WiFi network.

Got it. Still won't let me sign into WiFi without the passord; to edit the original query, I was wrong: it's not working on other devices either. To be clear, I'm getting internet on devices hooked up through Netgear (which uses house wiring to send the data, connected via Ethernet), so the Starlink modem is apparently doing its job. Any help appreciated.

Ethernet is not WiFi. It is asking for the WiFi password for the WPA2 security protocol. Newer devices use WPA2 which is a more secure protocol. As already suggested, check your router's user manual for how to configure WPA2 security for your router's WiFi. If your WiFi router is too old to use WPA2 then get a new router.
