I read the thread concerning sorting and apply what was listed as solution, but it's not working for me. I have an inventory of my Xbox games. I modified the "Nom" column to "Text", left justified and tried to sort. But nop, Numbers is not sorting these columns correctly and I can't understand why (see image included). And, before you ask, yes these are "0" (zero) not "O"
Any idea what's going on, here?
Some of the "Assassin's" have a straight apostrophe and some have a "smart" apostrophe.
I am not a big fan of smart apostrophes/quotes, and this is one of the reasons. You can turn the smart quote substitution off in Numbers->Preferences and use Find/Replace to replace all instances of smart apostrophes with straight ones. Or, if you like the smart ones, keep the preference selected and find/replace the straight ones with curved ones.

PS: You'll run into another sorting issue if the mid-text numbering continues. This example shows where larger 'number in text data' will create sorting issues that may require more complicated sorting processes.
