iPad Pro 12.9-inch Wi-Fi 64GB Space Gray

I had several issues with my ipad. I plugged it with a charger once, it was not apple certified charger. The ipad turned off, now when I plugged the charger after months, it just displays the screen without logo; black screen that is on when trying to restart it with volume up/down and power. It just shows a black screen. And also the flash light flashed twice. I have tried so many ways but none worked past that and shows a empty black screen without apple logo. If anyone knows what’s the issue I would appreciate it. The battery is working since it flashed, and the ipad is free of any physical damage (hardware) damage. Anything will help.

As described, having been set aside unused and not charged for an extended period, your iPad battery may have failed. If the battery has failed, the iPad will not successfully boot to a running state. You should note that some third-party USB Power Adapters may not be suitable for Apple devices.

If your iPad is unresponsive, connect your iPad to its originally supplied (or other Apple) Power Adapter and allow the iPad to charge overnight (NB: The Power Adapter must be rated at 12W or greater to reliably charge an iPad). Then, while still connected to external power, try a forced-restart:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen. Or if your iPad isn’t working correctly after you restart it, see the iPad Support website.
