BMW G30 Waze CarPlay muted

Waze provides sound alerts only when I am navigating with Waze... when Waze is just run on my CarPlay, I get silent pop ups all messages on the Screen but no sound. When I start navigating on Waze or Sygic all sounds working.

When not connected iPhone to CarPlay all works. And all sounds works on Mercedes w213.

So I searched online for various suggestions and did not find too much…

CarPlay Not Working on 16.1.1 My 2021 BMW X3 m40i never had an issue connecting to CarPlay until I got the 14. Now it’s showing me the CarPlay screen, shows a song is playing, but there’s no sound. When I try to turn it up, it tells me no resources available. Fix it. It also does the same thing when trying to make a phone call. Apps like waze and Google maps also crash mid drive.

How can I fix speaker sound problems in CarPlay on my Chevy Trax? We just purchased a 2025 Chevy Trax and started having CarPlay issues the second day. Sometimes the speaker sound crackly sometimes there’s a lag in the volume change and other types of glitches. The dealership already did a USB update and a radio update and it only happens on CarPlay. I have an iPhone 15 and it is also, fully updated. Does anyone else have issues like this? Any ideas on how to fix? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
