The iPhone 9 is a non existing iPhone. But to turn off focus, open your control center by swiping down from the right corner of your screen on iPhones with Face ID, and swipe up from the bottom on iPhones with Touch ID.

After that, find the focus button and press it in order to turn off a focus setting
