My smaller ipads are disabled because they wouldn't accept the password and I want to give them to my great grandkids

I have two of my first ipads and have done everything I have looked up after I tried too many times and they say ipad is disabled

iPad, iOS 9

If you forgot the passcode you'll need to restore them on a PC or Mac.
