WiFi doesn’t connect to the right SSID. iPhone try’s to connect to old SSID

Every it try to connect to a new WiFi network the window that pops up is a login window to a KFC-public-WiFi network. I then have to cancel and tap the new network again. I end up entering the new WiFi network but it’s frustrating to do this every I need to use a new network.

I tried to reset the network setting and nothing happens besides losing all my WiFi passwords.

Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Thank you

iPhone 5c, iOS 9

Did you ask the phone to forget the old SSID? You don't need to reset all of your network settings to do that.

Once you've successfully logged into an access point, the phone will normally remember the WiFi network and the WiFi password, so it can automatically re-connect in the future.
