Apple watch can't update

My apple watch SE2 cant update to latest os (watchOS 9.6).


It keeps telling me the update cant be accepted because there is no connection to internet.


  1. The watch is connected to internet an paired to iphone.
  2. I have tried to restart iphone and applewatch.
  3. I have tried to reset applewatch to factory settings and repair with iphone.


No matter what i try i cant get it to work.

First force restart the watch. i.e. press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo. 


Then while the Watch is restarting Force Restart the paired iphone   


Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)


 Then in the iphone, Settings, General, Transfer or reset iphone, Reset, Reset network settings. 


Make sure you have no VPN or VPN based ad-blocker in the iPhone. Uninstall it then remove any profiles (iPhone Settings, General VPN & Device Management)


Turn off the router and turn it on again if it is a home router.


Reconnect the iPhone to Wi-Fi and try updating the Watch again. It must be on the charger to update.

Hi,


I was in touch with apple support directly where they tried to login to my device and see what i did etc.

They couldent resolve it either, so i had to hand it in to a certified apple service center for them to have a look at it.

They - like apple support, tried all the exact same things, but couldent resolve it either!

So the service center sent it to apple, and within a few days it got replaced and recieved at brand new watch from them and now all is working like a charm again.


So i wish i could give you some magical way to solve it, but i think it just might be unsolvable and needs to be replaced.

Hi,


I tried to unpair and set up as new watch.


Furthermore i check vpn settings on phone (and none where there) and furthermore checked all apps if i should have any that could be related to that - but theres none.


And its the same result at earlier. It just keep telling me there is no internet connection.


I feel like i have tried every possible solution i could finde, but none of them works.
