My Apple ID won't accept my Credit Card as payment method

Got email stating iCloud subscription needs updated credit cards. I did. Won’t accept

First make certain the email is legitimate. Many scammers masquerade as Apple to trick people into revealing critical financial information.

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
