microphone acting weird after IOS 17

I just installed IOS17 on my iphone 13 pro, and when using the microphone it starts recording 3-4 seconds after I actually activate it. It happens both on 'Whatsapp' and 'Voice memos'. for some reason it works fine in 'Massages' and when recording a video.

I can't find a reliable solution on the internet, and want to try here before reseting the iphone to factory settings
