Apple Mail won't update with new mail on MacbookAir but it WILL get new mail on iphone.

For several hours my Apple Mail has not been loading new mail, on my 2018 MacBook Air. Meanwhile, my iPhone's mail app works perfectly in bringing new mail. Any thoughts from anyone? Thank you.

First thing I'd do is reboot and see if the issue disappears.
