Rewind video with gestures

Rewinding video with gestures does not work. Before updating to iOS 17, I rewinded the video by swiping my finger right/left. Currently this functionality does not work

When I watch a video in iOS 16 using Safari, I can swipe the screen with my finger to fast forward or rewind the video. However, after I upgraded to iOS 17, this operation was removed, and now the direct swipe screen operation when watching videos has changed to exit full screen. I don't understand why this is, I really need to directly swipe the screen to fast forward when watching videos. Rewind the operation, thank you!

What happened to video scrubbing on ios17? Before I updated to ios17 and ipad17 I enjoyed a feature where I could drag my finger wcross the screen to scrub videos. But now that feature is gone. Is there a way to restore in settings? I didn’t find one. Is there a way to return to the previous software?
