iPhone 14 pro max battery health

My 1 year old iPhone 14 pro max battery health has dropped by 10% to 90%.

I had a iPhone 12 before and after 2 years it only dropped to 92%.

I use both my phones the same amount of time

Battery Health & Performance

Your battery health is fine and is undergoing normal usage. iPhone batteries, like all rechargeable batteries, are consumable components that become less effective as they age. You should change out the battery once your Battery Health reaches below 80% which will take over 2 years to reach under normal usage. Until then enjoy your iPhone.

It does not go by when you purchased the iPhone. The battery health deterioration begins once the iPhone was assembled. Your iPhone 14 Pro Max is probably 1.5 years old and based on this the battery health at 89% is normal.
