Hey, I have query about purchasing iphone 15 pro max in instalment. Can I send it to another country and use it there after paying the first month installment payment? Will they face any problem in using it?

  1. Note that iPhone will not be serviced abroad by Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers. If anything happens to it, then the phone needs to be brought back to the county where it was purchased. Repair Terms and Conditions - Apple Legal
  2. Note that import duties may be required for bringing a new device into another country.
  3. Carrier-linked phone purchases are locked to a carrier in the original country for a minimum contract duration. I would advise against that option, even if the phone never went abroad.
  4. Note that new US iPhones 14 and 15 are eSIM-only. There is no SIM tray. eSIM availability may be different in the other country. Find wireless carriers and worldwide service providers that offer eSIM service - Apple Support
  5. Note that there are region-specific versions of iPhone, to accommodate to the various 5G bands and LTE bands. Variations might mean that the user may not be able to connect to a certain cell tower. So it depends on which country. iPhone - Supported 5G and LTE networks - Apple
  6. Also read this document about using iPhones in other countries: Use eSIM while traveling internationally with your iPhone - Apple Support
  7. Note that buying in installments requires pre-approval by one of the Apple-selected financial institutions. You are basically committing to a loan for the full amount, at the contract interest rate if you fall behind.
