Using AppleID with IFTTT and MyQ - cannot link accounts with APPLE ID Sign on

Any thoughts on this??

On IPhone 14 pro - current OS and updated apps:

I am logged into MyQ app with APPLE ID

I am logged into IFTT with a username and password

When trying to link IFTTT to MYQ there is no option to do so with my APPLE ID Sign on

II get the option to enter a email and password only.

If attempting to link MyQ with IFTTT - MyQ attempts to open the IFTTT app but results in an error of “Could not open link - please try updating to the latest version of IFTTT from the App Store - although it is the latest.

Tried an alternate IFTTT account logged in with Apple ID - no different

Cannot delete IFTTT account using Apple ?ID as it requires a password

Password for my regular Apple ID login via email address does not work with Apple ID sign on

iPhone 14 Pro
