Is it possible someone has compromised my iPhone?
Possible but people report many false alerts for the very reason in an earlier post. Also if you are using a VPN this is to be expected.

"When you sign in on a device, you’ll get a notification on your other trusted devices that includes a map showing the approximate location of the new device. This is an approximate location based on the IP address the device is currently using, rather than the exact location of the device. The location shown might reflect the network you're connected to, and not your physical location."
I have location services turned on for "precise location," however my iPhone keeps saying I'm in another state, several hundred miles away with an "IP address," I don't recognize! Is it possible someone has compromised my iPhone?
