settings critical notification virus alert

I'm getting a fake alert. they are using the settings icon to flash this fake notification on my screen. how do i stop it?

First check for any unwanted safari extensions:


Use Safari extensions on your Mac - Apple Support


After that open safari, click safari in menu bar>settings>websites>notifications and see if there is any weird site listed that is allowed to sent you notifications.


After that, if the issue is still persisting, download the free version of malwarebytes anti malware and scan your Mac with it
