Is what your ISP? Posting some more information for us to work with might help. Post an example of what display or setting or name issue you're asking about, maybe?

Pretty much everything has a network address, lots of network-connected things have network names, and some of those things with names have more than one name, and those different names are usually for different reasons or involve different sources. macOS definitely has more than one network name.

If, for instance, this is about the default prompt shown in Terminal app via the PS1 or equivalent mechanism, that is retrieved from local network, and that name can be from various sources including from the ISP. Or you can ignore the PS1 name, or change PS1 to not show that string.

If you're on a business or organization's network as your ISP, and have questions about that network or its operations, check with the IT people managing the network.
