Can Numbers menu option for Recent Files be changed?

So this is not the most pressing problem in the world today, but it has been bothering me for a long time. Please see the screenshot below - note when Numbers is started, (by default) a user can see as many as the last ten files opened in the Open Recent section of the menu. (The blue block is to obscure file names only and does not actually appear on the screen...)

Question: I would like to increase the number of files shown in the Open Recent section of the Numbers menu to 15 or 20 - how can I do that (or can this be done)?
