ResetCounter Log

I’m trying to do a hard reset on my iPhone 12 but seems like I can’t do. The phone reboots but everything loads super quickly like I didn’t do a hard reset and I’m getting a log called ResetCounter, within the file I see a variable called ‘boot failure: 1’. I’m curious because it wasn’t like this before

this is the log;

Any report given by a third party may not fetch an answer here.

I have been using iPhones over a decade and have never used these analytics data. Neither have I understood what it stood for. The best I can guess it, it will be used by repair personnel when you send a device for repair against a warranty.

A normal user like me, has no use of it. This may help --> Frozen, Apple Logo, Restar… - Apple Community

SravanKrA, your response:

Why have you made reference to “third party”; isn’t this an analytics log from apple?

You highlight that, while being familiar with iphone devices, you have never sought to use or understand the analytics reports - what brought you to the assumption the log report was “third party”, is there a particular line in the report that indicates the report was provided by or triggered by third party app/software?

I have the same outcome in my ResetCounter Log. I opened the log to confirm the hard reset had been successful / no faults/failure.

Given the report was short & appeared straightforward (even for a layperson); I felt it was not unrealistic to seek confirmation from the analytics log, that the phone had truely shutdown and restarted.

The link you have provided explains the process to manually force a restart of the device which is exactly the process I undertook & that resulted in the ResetCounter Log in question. As I was following the Apple advice to force a shutdown, I would attribute the report to be an Apple report.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated, as your posts have been beneficial when reading other topics in this community.
