A family member in my account purchased a movie on his phone and can watch the movie on his phone. I want to watch it on my non-Mac laptop. I don't have an Apple + subscription. How can I find and watch the movie? I tried entering my apple account on the web on my laptop but can't find my purchases.

purchases are tied to the appleID and should play on all devices with that appleID tied to them
appletv+ has no relation or bearing on purchases and rental of other itunes media

and maybe try to set it up with a family members
then you should contact their support channels to get it sorted

but maybe something went wrong and it was purchased to his account, in which case it would show up there and you could check it
Thanks. It was purchased in and on my account but not on my apple phone. Still I cannot figure out how to watch it on my phone -- but more importantly, how to find and watch it on my non-apple laptop. I can see it in my list of Apple purchases on my phone but can't do any more with it.
