Cannot Switch "Find My Mac" On... Sonoma 14.2

OK this is what's happening:

I click apple logo, go to system settings>>Apple ID>>iCloud>>show more apps, and it looks like this:

I click 'find my Mac' and 'turn on':

I click 'allow':

It says this, and I click "done":

and it still says, this!! :

Help... location services are on in "privacy & security"

Find my Mac Hello I have an odd ball issue with iMac (2021) in relation to the find my Mac and interested to see if anyone else can come across this issue or knows of a fix, Find my Mac is showing Off under the device list, but in settings its enabled and I can find my Mac via find my and send a sound to it, even when I'm away from home. Find My Mac turned on in multiple locations, but not working I noticed on my iPhone that my Macbook was listed in Find My Mac, but it showed it as off. I have gone through every troubleshooting step I found and nothing resolves it. I am on a MacBook Pro using macOS Sequoia 15.5. Here are the steps I have taken: Gone to Privacy & Security and turned on Location Sharing, went to system services list and made sure Find My Mac was toggled on. In the location sharing list made sure Find My Mac was toggled on. I have signed in and out of my Mac and iPhone iCloud accounts. Everytime I sign back into my Apple account on the Mac, it requires me to enter the password for Find My Mac, both my Apple password and my computer password. It all signs in successfully. I had 2 other user accounts listed, and deleted those since Apple said it will only work on one account at a time. (I am the admin for this Mac and have rights to delete accounts.) I have restarted numerous times after I have adjusted other settings. When I go to my Apple account - iCloud - it shows Find My Mac as on. But if I look at Devices, and click on my computer name, it shows Find My Mac - off, and that seems to be what is preventing it from finding my Mac with my iPhone or if I open the Find My app on the Mac. Here are the screenshots showing all the places where it has the Find My Mac status. The last one shows the only place it is listed as off. [Edited by Moderator]

macOS 15.6 : Find my Mac is not working, I am not able to see my location in iCloud.com/find I have enabled location services under "Privacy & Security". In system securities, Find My Mac is enabled. Also under iCloud, Find My Mac is turned on. After all this settings enabled, still I am not able to see my location in iCloud.com/find. In device info, I am able to see "Find My Mac" as "Off" Please help me on this. Thanks in advance
