How to upgrade crashing Mac Pro to a new one safely

my current Mac Pro keeps crashing, so I’m afraid to try and migrate to a new one on my own, can I bring my old computer to the store and have them transfer everything for me to a new one?

With 64 GB of available space is it time for a new computer? The MacAir 2013 only has a total of 121 GB available space on the hard drive. Since upgrading to Catalina from Mojave, the new OS took up more space than just replacing Mojave, and seems to use sometimes 1GB of space a day without my doing anything on the computer; with 64 GB remaining that only would mean obviously too little remaining in just two months. Is it time for me to purchase a new computer? Do I need to be aware of how much available space is needed if Migration Assistant or other means of moving data from this 2013 to a new (LARGER CAPACITY) Mac?

if your Mac is crashing, but passes its diagnostics, you need to solve that problem before "changing everything" or you may find you have a brand new computer that crashes in a similar way as the old one did.

what model is your current Mac? Mac Pro 42 lb silver tower? iMac? iMac Pro? MacBook Pro notebook?
