Apple Music won’t play on google home

I have linked my Apple Music in my google home as the default player. But everytime I ask google to play it says it needs to be linked. I’ve tried deleted and re-linking. Tried turning the google home on and off and nothing. In the google home app it says it’s linked and my default player but nothing. Super frustrating please help!
