Samsung TV Airplay not working

I have been using my mac to connect to the tv for an online yoga class for over a year. Every now and then the airplay won't work but it's always come back after resetting everything. It usually stops working after we watch netflix (on the tv not through airplay). Now airplay won't work at all on any device, mac or phone. I have tried every step on wikihow. I have reset everything more than once. I tried a new mac and it doesn't even see the tv. Mac running sonoma 14.2.1

My Android-capable TV uses an added software App to simulate genuine Apple-TV capabilities. If that software were to get damaged or out of date, my Apple-TV features would stop working. (Mine is a stand-alone App, but others may be built-in.)

Maybe something like that has happened to you? Have you checked the software in the TV set, and applied any available updates?
