Argh! Can you restore your computer from a really old time machine copy where you knew what the id was. Maybe some way to get started from there.
If not, I think I would chat, call or book an appointment with Apple and see if they have any suggestions.

Good tip Quacks, the main issue is that even after erasing everything, the activation key will ask me to log in to the last email used, and it does not accept the key.
